well maybe Tim had his tongue firmly in cheek, but it also covered his eye
tooth and thus he did'nt see what he was saying.

From my point of view ANY encouragement for folks to shoot B&W (even a
cynical effort by Kodal et al to unload unsold C41 film) can only be a good
thing.  This artform just might benefit from some kid getting it right and
getting turned on and maybe taking the next step (maybe a Leica will follow,
shit.... maybe a old unused Pentax Spotmatic or Nikkormat found in their
father's sock drawer) and who knows..

What the photographic world needs is more photographic literacy, and less
photoshop wizardry.  The gap between glitz and kitch is widening rapidly.
