Yeah, I did the KEH "Online Quote Wizard" for some of the stuff to get an
idea of what to expect. F4s, AF 35-135, 200 f4 macro, 300 tele, TC14B
telextender, and 72 mm polorizer... the bid.. $1445. I,ve got more lenses
and bodies, and myriad other stuff filters, holders, lots of Kirk plates, a
macro flash set-up, Arco ball head, tripods, etc. I'm not surprised for
the reasons you suggest. I dont have the energy or time to do the eBay
thing and the local dealer has cases full of this kind of stuff on
consignment already. I suspect it would sit there for years if I went that
route (that is if the dealer would even be interested in taking it in).

A sign of the times.... reality

The other option is to stash it in a closet and let an estate executor deal
with it in ... what? 30years I hope ;-), or I could give it to my 28 year
old art student daughter to trash. All things considered, I might as well
let it go for whatever I can get for it.

anybody interested in a hot deal on Nikon gear!!?? (only kidding, it not
being friday and all).
