No booze, watches, fountain pens, or soporific sociopathic diatribes.
Who might know about thin light lines appearing on the negs? The lines are evenly spaced but sometimes wider apart, sometimes closer together. Usually there are two or three lines per frame. This only happened once to one roll, the first three shots were fine, then there was a half frame double exposure, (as if the film didn't advance all the way), then the lines were consistent for the remaining frames. I've heard of dark lines appearing as a result one slow curtain. If I understand the mechanism correctly, this might be caused by slow breaking or slow acceleration of one curtain. But since there are three lines per frame, I suppose these may be interference lines caused by too small a slit, as is the reason speeds over 1/2000 sec can't be achieved. The frames otherwise are properly exposed. Any ideas?
