Overalls...he wears whatever he perceives as "cool" on a given day...but to be fair, they were down there doing construction work in mud, rain, and heat...:-) And,yes, he was there...he teaches two art classes = one for kids, one for adults - at that church in Southie, and is about to spend a week as a counselor at some camp they send kids to. He was one of the "adults" on the trip - obviously I left him out of all the CSM photos and didn't write about him at all... - -----Original Message----- From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us] On Behalf Of Phong Sent: Friday, July 18, 2003 6:55 AM To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us Subject: RE: [Leica] PAWs B.D., I like the composition in both pictures. In particular, I like the way the 2 black boys frame the white boy in the 2nd picture, with their hands joined (?). There is an air of friendliness, and yet there is also a certain distance between them. I wish that the boys in the foreground are more in focus, but perhaps the way it is strengthens that distance. I also would have cropped the pole on the right. I must have missed but I did not realize Nick was with you in Harlan County. Does he wear jeans overalls (what is the word I am looking for ? they were so popular back in the '70s) when in Boston ? They look new on him. :-) Looking forward to read the story, - - Phong > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us > [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us]On Behalf Of bdcolen > Sent: Thursday, July 17, 2003 10:46 PM > To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us > Subject: [Leica] PAWs > > > Two black and white FILM offerings from Harlan County....
