Yes I have driven in the Silicon Valley and the Bay areas. SF is boring
and frustrating as the traffic moves every once in a while. Silicon Valley
is much like LA - just alot of cars. Dallas traffic especially LBJ at
night is a race track. North Central Expressway is just Weird - Anything
Can Happen! Cedar Rapids on the other hand is just plain nice easy
driving...

So you have never driven in Silicon Valley have you? I've driven in Dallas,
Houston, Los Angeles. I drove a cab in Chicago all through college. I now
drive regularly in the area between Portland and Seattle, along the I 5
corridor. Nothing, absolutely nothing is as horrid as driving in the "Bay
Area" I say this after having lived there for 25 years (1977/2002)
