You can get packets of cooked pig skin in English pubs - they're generally
called 'pork scratchings'. Revolting things IMHO but I have a friend who
loves them.

I enjoy eating this stuff very much, when properly prepared and cooked. For
example, recently I had a Romanian dish of fried pork skin that was
delightful.  I wish I had the sense to write the name of the dish down. Yum
!
