I'll be heading to Ireland in October. Planned stays are Ennis, Recess,
Westport, Birr, Cobh, and near Bunratty before flying home. Skipping Dublin
this time.

One thing good about October travel is there are very few tourists on the
roads. Bad thing is there are few places for film and developing.

Places of interest to me are:

Cliffs of Moher/Doolin - the Leica's will get wet
Connermara/Ballynahinch/Twelve Pins area - screams b&w
Westport area/Croagh Patrick
County Mayo - going for the first time
Trim
Birr/Slieve Bloom Mts.
Cashel- go just to be a tourist, castle is huge!
Cobh - Titanic sailed from here, great view by St. Colman's Cathedral,
Luisitana Memorial
Cork - will be first time, Alex Hurst says he'll have Murphy's ;)
Ring of Kerry - scenic drive
Dingle - fantastic views even in the rain

Only down side I've found going this time is the Euro makes everything a bit
more $$$.

Enjoy your trip.
