I was changing lenses and the M6TTL > body slipped and hit the door sill of our van, luckily I caught it before > it hit the ground. No apparent damage, Thankfully. No problems there, Gene. The door sill probably broke the fall enough that it wouldn't have hurt the camera even if you hadn't caught it. You have to be precise and let it fall smack-dab on the top cover if you really want to throw them out of whack :) A knee-jerk reflection to kick it and break the fall is often enough. > Went out shooting old > barns here in Iowa, got some good ones I hope as I roasted my face and arms > doing it. Got the pics back today and will try to get a set up for viewing > before Friday. Gene's a redneck!!! That's what I'm really looking forward to (your shots). I'm headed off to the midwest (Chicago) next Thursday and will be there for three weeks. I hope to get down to southern Illinois where I can see some of the things you describe. My "ancestors" (on my mother's side) were the first settlers to come to Bond County in the early 1800's. I usually try to visit their graves and pick my aunt's memory. She's the only one left now and I'm the only one who has shown an interest for what she remembers. Gotta pass it on (though my daughter is pissed about being dual national, American and Swedish, and boycotts most things American after Iraq. The day after we arive is 4th of July ... that should be a killer). Take care! Daniel - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
