Subject: [Leica] Re: 28mm PC thoughts?

I bought one when they were first announced. Marvelous lens. Very high
contrast. It takes special filters sold by B+W. 67EW filters are the only
filters you can use and they are special order. You can also use drop-in
filters between the lens shade and the lens. But you cannot drop-in a
polarizer. A polarizer must be a 67EW. The drop-in filters are also special
order, at least they were back then.

I sold my 28PC after using it for its intended purpose, some book
illustrations. But kept the filters as they work well on my other wide
angle lenses with 67mm threads.
