Thanks Chris.  I was very lucky to spot the sign on
the parade route, half way thru the parade.  I then
wished and prayed that there would be a bride on 
one of the moving platforms (what's the word I am 
looking for ?) And when one showed up, I ran out 
to the middle of the road and "worked" the bride 
into position without being too obvious.  There
were people marching all around me. I took 
4 shots and 2 came out with the sign legible 
(actually the sign was The Altered Bride).
Made my day.
