I keep it on the one I take along when I'm absolutely sure I don't really need a camera. I _always_ have a camera with me. There's a "next" link. I'm not afraid of using it because of quality questions. It comes along when I would have missed a picture otherwise. At 5.6 and 8 it's just fine. I've never used it with color film. It's handy at times. Given the choice, I would prefer to have the new variant. Mine is an old one too. I'm keeping my eyes open (and have already missed two opportunities, so a lot of good that does me).
