Thanks, Phong - I agree with your pick; easy enough to darken the
second, although don't know that I would - it is, by the way, just the
random arrangement of a group of wooden clamps hung up on the wall :-);
Number 3 I wanted more of the arm than head...

As to color - I was shooting for a newspaper that insists on color.
AND...the paper asked for 9 images out of the shoot, and the nine
include some of my favorites - and none of the 9 are posted here, as the
paper gets some ungodly package of rights, and I am waiting to see which
of the nine they're taking..;-)

B.D.,

Not to say I could do any better, but here are my opinions:

This one is my favorite of the bunch
http://www.leica-gallery.net/bdcolen/image-46725.html

I think this one http://www.leica-gallery.net/bdcolen/image-46723.html
would benefit with a tad more of the worker's head.

I would have use at least 1 stop less on this contraption worthy of any
medieval torture chamber, or David Copperfield:
http://www.leica-gallery.net/bdcolen/image-46720.html
and would have shot it more from the shadow side.

This one is also nice,

From you, I am very surprised to see these shots in color.

Hope all is well,

- - Phong

Nasty cracks or fawning welcome as always..:-)
