Subject: RE: [Leica] OT: New Hexar RF? Don't wake me

Jerry,

I've always had some appreciation for Erwin Puts, probably because everything he has recommended (that I subsequently bought) has been wonderful (Tri-Elmar, for example), and everything he has panned (that I subsequently bought against my better judgement has been a turkey (the 50/2.5 Skopar, for example). Some of his newsletters read a bit like a person's personal journal or diary, but that's fine. Hard to bitch about something that is free and didn't kill any trees.

Lee

My respect for Hr. Puts has increased. He has approached this subject as an engineer, rather than as a theologist.
