Some solutions are: - - use the screw in hood from the 50/2.8M. - - use two stacked filters, both with the glass removed, as a hood. - - use a velcro strap or thick rubber band to keep the built in hood from collapsing. - - make an adapter to mount an A42 hood such as the 12585 (the one I saw looked like it might vignette). - - trade the lens in on the version before which has the same optics but takes a separate hood.
