"Film is dead" for the commercial and professional photog who benefits
greatly from digital. Not every household is going to throw away their
family camera and buy a digital. It takes only an hour to get back prints
with film but 1-3 working days if I uploaded .jpg files to process into
prints. Again not every household has a computer.

"Darkroom is dying" for the colour enthusiast but will remain strong for the
B&W purist (at least for some time to come). I would not be surprised that
good B&W prints will be considered an even greater art form and collectible
with good values placed on them

"Digital is growing" is not surprising since it is tied closely with IT.
