Luggers,
    The Leica 'O' series camera was brought out at the request of customers,
so one could experience photography ala 1923. The non-selfcapping and that
hold-it-a-foot from your face viewfinder are part of the experience.
    If you want a more modern experience, I humbly suggest you try either an
M7 or R9.
    To the 'O' series owner who commented on the viewfinder, why don't you
get an auxiliary 50mm finder. There are plenty around, and it should fit on
the camera'a accessory shoe.
