Occasionaly I will use a small handheld meter to get a baseline reading, and then just point and shoot, adjusting for the type of shot I am making, (ie shutter speed for movement or aperture for DOF) but not changing much for the same light. On my M4-2 I use a MR-4 meter, but even then it is often "Measure once, shoot many" Noel Rei Shinozuka <shino@panix.com> wrote: >at the recent NYLUG, i noticed a couple of doughty souls with IIIfs and M3s >without meters. do most of you who use these cameras do sunny 16 or >otherwise intuitively of through experience determine exposure, or do >you always use outboard meters? > >thanks, >-rei > >-- >Rei Shinozuka shino@panix.com >Ridgewood, New Jersey > >-- >To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html > __________________________________________________________________ Try AOL and get 1045 hours FREE for 45 days! http://free.aol.com/tryaolfree/index.adp?375380 Get AOL Instant Messenger 5.1 for FREE!
