Hi,yesterday was a nice day here with promised snow but some unexpected
sunshine.Got some old Kodak E10vs from a friend and decided to try again
with the rocketlauncher .
A few weeks ago i tried with a 400 6.8 telyt and found that a delight to
use.
The lens is very light so you can move it around quickly and the shoulder
stock adds a lot of stability. One has to be carefull not to hit aanyone with
it in a crowd though because all together the assembly is a bit long.
So i managed some action shots like these which you might have seen allready

not formula 1 i know but still moving enough for a beginner .
Yesterday with it,s bigger sister proved more difficult first the angle of
view of a 560 .It,s a lot narrower then your vision so you really have to
look for things which are either small or very far away not easy.
Then it,s heavier and bigger then the 400 so more difficult to hand hold.
With the changing light the lowest i went was 1/90 and then sometimes the
result is a bit soft like in these

still i like the effect of isolating small statues from the ugly scenes
behind them and i tried some more with better light

An obvious advantage of the lens is that while people near you tend to
wonder whether to call the police and report a terrorist with a stinger
people far away dont know you are there so i had a glimpse at the first
mini(skirt) of the season without being hit by the owners handbag which was
a big on the large side

An obvious target is birds ,afterall it was Douglas Herrs nice site at
http://www.wildlightphoto.com
and
http://www.wildlightphoto.com/leica/
that got me into this Leica adventure
Well i was unable to find a bird willing enough to pose for me and this
http://www.leica-gallery.net/apekop/image-43548.html
was the best i could do.
Maybe i better take up fishing.
Anothet advantage is that one can take pictures of things you dont want to
be seen taking pictures of like
http://www.leica-gallery.net/apekop/image-43561.html
really nobody sees it
to give a better idea what the lens more or lens can do at low shutter
speeds is this
http://www.leica-gallery.net/apekop/image-43556.html
and a crop of it at
http://www.leica-gallery.net/apekop/image-43552.html
well
the rest of the roll is here

hope you didn,t mind the long post
