One of the things I like about Spring is the delicate greens of the
hardwoods against the darker pines in these parts.  Yesterday, I
walked a familiar trail just near town and checked on the pond there.
Not seen here, as I was traveling light, is a log with about 20
red-cheek slider turtles catching some rays.  I'll try to go shoot
that for you later.

 Imagine birds, crickets and frogs, and you'll have the perfect sound
effects for this shot.,
