It could have to do when you put filters on the front you'd not be able
to otherwise to infinity.
I'm pretty sure that's it. The filters alter the plane of focus inward.
You know those filters that don't do anything?
But it could mean on a real cold day the glass contracts and would not
have been able to infinity.
Babe Ruth hit infinity one year. But they decided it was best all in all
to just keep it quiet.
