I didn't talk about Ruddy (don't know him). I just tried to defend one
of my friends, Peter Moss, who obviously had a short and stormful
appearance here. I've read the archives and didn't find it that bad. A
question of taste and point of view, I suppose. Anyhow it's over now,
like the 'Blitzkrieg' that suddenly disappeared. Now they are talking
about months of war while they continue shooting at each other
('friendly fire')...

On certain moments caricature drawings are more powerfull than
photographies. A pencil more useful than a Leica. I think we are living
such a moment now, even if the circumstances are dreadfull and terrible.

I don't know if there is a saying going like this: 'Too many images kill
the eye'. That's exactly what I feel these days, even if I neither have
any television in my castle, nor time to bother about the propaganda
pouring out of the medias. Well, in France it's still not too bad, but
then this country is one of the few civilised countries left! I'm
carrying an old dusty transistor while cutting my vines these days. The
Leicas are resting on a shelf somewhere inside.

Happy spring,

Oddmund

subtle mind... I've subscribed there too).
