Burt,

Seems expensive. There are no special issues with using this lens on the 
M6/M7, but it is not a particularly good performer--low contrast and 
prone to flare. I would suggest springing a hundred or two more and 
finding a modern Summicron instead, or, if you really need a collapsible 
lens, a modern 2.8 Elmar.
