A classic is here: We are eagerly awaiting our first MP kits from Leica USA in the next few weeks, but we came home from PMA to a pleasant surprise. We received five units of the new 50f2.0 Summicron 50 Jahre Anniversary. This is a chrome lens that is very hard to tell from the original 50f2.0 rigid. Perfect companion to the new chrome MP's as even though only 1000 will be made, there are no goofy engravings or "instant collectible" markings. The shade is the old vented one that everyone seems to like best. We have three left to offer as of this message, new, USA $1400. It is unknown if we will receive any others...
