Subject: [Leica] Don's PAW 10

Sorry to not wait for the weekend but I will be in NYC later this week and a
large part of next week so I thought I would post early.

This has been an interesting thread RE the great Leicavit/Rapidwinder
debate. I happened to run into Tom A. at the Leica booth and I had the
opportunity to exchange a few words with him and his lovely wife. I don't
think he feels any animosity toward this new "vit". As another poster said,
I think there are two different purchasers out there.

Just as entertaining, Tom just happened to have a prototype C/V 35mm F1.2
lens that some on this list will find of much interest. He even let me use
this lens on my camera; which leads to this weeks PAW. Really just a snap
shot of Tom wide open on NPZ. No correction for color or even much
sharpening.

Enjoy, have a good week, try to get along just one more week.
