Subject: RE: [Leica] Luis Marden of the National Geographic dies

According to Sal DiMarco:

Someone quoted in the story said, he got the photographers away
from carrying 200 pounds of equipment with his Leica. I find it
amusing because almost everyone at the NGS travels much much more
    today. Happy Snaps,

200 pounds! Thats not much. I knew one NGS photographer who got
multiple hernias from hauling around the equipment, and he was using
Nikons.
