Subject: Re: [Leica] Japanese special edition of new Leica M

The awnser to that question probably has to do with
marketing. The space on top of the M has to be the
most expensive real estate on earth. Ever since after
the M4, Leica leaves it for all those
special/commemorate editions to demand hefty price AND
some of us are willing to pay for it. Like an F1 team,
sponsors pay a lot for that little sticker on the
car's body. If I can make money, I'll be a walking
billboard with all kinds of stickers on my attire.
