Tom,

I have been using a Nikon Coolscan for about two years and am very pleased
with the results. I use it with Vuescan software mainly. I scan B&W (C41
and Tri-x), color negatives and slides. Work the images in PS-7, then print
quadtone B&W and color on Epson 1160 and 3000 respectively.

I use the Nikon with a firewire to an older PC machine running Windows 2000.
Works well.

Best Regards,
Charles Hehl
