Mark, if you have to go digital, the Canon bodies will support your Leica
glass with an adapter that is fairly, readily available.  You will be
aperture priority but that isn't so bad.  If you use one of the Nikon bodies
with your old lenses you will be the same.

Either camera will be just a "plastieechhy" as the other with all the
electronic controls.
