Er, $4000 isn't "very little money". The Acura MDX has a guaranteed built-in profit for the dealer of $4k, non-negotiable...all they have to do is take your order, phone you when the car is in. All that for $4k. I'm not saying that compares to a Leica, but for some cars, they make quite a bit. You also don't know how much the car dealers get back after all the numbers are tallied up.
