Tri-X at 800, developed in Acufine. I've been using the Tri=X at 800 as
my standard film/asa combination for the past several years - recently
switched from Xtol to Acufine, and find it to be Plentyfine! :-)

The technical challenges inherent in Peter Klein's excellently seen
photographs reminded me of shooting in nightclubs in the 1950s with a
Kodak ASA1000 film that was not just grainy but downright gritty.
AFAIK Jim Marshall, probably the best known photographer of the world of
rock, used Tri-X rated at ISO800; his technical issues are discussed at
http://www.marshallphoto.com/mp.v1/content/Technical.html
which also shows his well used M that Leica featured in one of their
brochures a few years ago.
