Don,

I know the kid feeling. I've managed to clear out some equipment in
anticipation of an announcement by Nikon. I hope they don't let us down.

Don't make any purchases just yet of that high end digiLR brace. The end of
February/first of March is when all the new stuff is announced at PMA so you
know what is coming and know what will be marked down. For example, Canon
is probably replacing the D60 with 4 and 8 MP cameras with less of a
magnification factor.

Also, you know that Nikon can't let these camera's steal market share so
they will have something to respond. Perhaps another firmware upgrade to
work on the D100's color issues.

Last, Kodak might actually begin volume shipping of it's 14MP camera.

For photographers, this is a wonderful age, sort of like when we were 5 and
Christmas was just around the corner.
