It was my least favorite lens in the Leica pantheon. I've had the thin
one, the fat one, the short one, the long one. It must of been more than
half a dozen of them. 
Forget shooting contre-jour with it. It'll flare out like nobody's business.
The new Elmarit-M blows it out of the water as though it was hit by a
double barrel blast.
I even prefer shooting  with the Elmar over that F2.8.
