As to Doug's comment - of course what the sports editor wants is a good shot - and right away. As to comparative tests - pick a subject, and shoot it with film and either a 1Ds or the new Kodak 14 meg camera - same lighting, same conditions - and see what you get. There's not much point now in talking about whether 6 meg digital is the equivalent of film when the new cameras have 11 and 14 meg sensors... ;-) - -----Original Message----- From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us] On Behalf Of Doug Herr Sent: Sunday, December 15, 2002 9:55 PM To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us Subject: Re: [Leica] 1Ds digital results on 12/15/02 5:37 PM, Robert G. The knee in digital photo turned to mush while the ribbing is visible in the E200 photo. For what I do the difference is important. I bet a sports editor would care more about speed of delivery.
