The Washington Post has a front page article on photos taken in DC
during the depression and a story that goes with it. It's very
interesting reading and viewing. For those that are unfamiliar with the
Post they have a very nice photo section at:

To enter, from the main page click on the Camera-Works tab at the top of
the page.

You may have to register to get into the photo section or articles, its
well worth the effort.
