Rob, thanks for the kindest words.

Do nature photographers engage trees the way people
photographers do with their subjects ?  I tried, but it doesn't
come naturally.   :-)

Somewhere on the vast web, I stumbled on a photography
page entitled  "Trees that I've known", and  thought that 
was cute.  Obviously, I need to work on getting to know the trees
better.
