Then it was around $250 or so for the HDR since I got them at the same time. Yes - it isn't inexpensive for some scanners, Nikon for certain, but I have gotten it to work great for me (the Ai version 6.0) When I was working with Ai 5.5 , I was a bit disappointed with such expensive software. I first had version 5.0 free with my Polaroid Sprintscan that I sold, and I thought 5.5 would be a MAJOR change. Not so ... But for me, 6.0 is a quantum leap ... adding all the features I wanted, and then some. One thing - if you do get it, be prepared to fend off attackers wanting a 'copy' , or to borrow it 'just to check it out' :-) Edward C - -- > From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us (Leica Users digest) > Reply-To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us > Date: Sun, 13 Oct 2002 16:26:13 -0700 (PDT) > To: leica-users-digest@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us > Subject: Leica Users digest V23 #200 > > I'm not Edward, but the URL is: www.silverfast.com. > > > Silverfast SE 6 seems to be $20 as an upgrade to previous versions.
