Subject: [Leica] Pentax Spotmeter V

Jan,
Replying directly as as well as to the LUG. This happened to a friend
recently. To take off the housing: 1) unscrew the black circle that
surrounds the eyepiece, 2) remove the black sticky label on the back of the
handle at the base ("Asahi Opt. Co, Japan, SNXXX"), and 3) remove the screw
hidden by the label. I believe the housing will come off.
Best regards, Dan Kapsner
P.S. My LUG digests tend to pile up so apologies if this is a
Johnny-come-lately answer or a duplicate.

<<Is anybody here using a Pentax Spotmeter V?

I need help with the following problem:

The screws attaching the dial to the body of the meter loosened.

I'd like to know how I get access to those screws to fasten them.

Also, the body of the meter has to be opened because one of the

nuts is wandering around inside the body. How can this be done?

Please, please help!>>

Regards,

Jan
