C'mon guys, Fuji, Kodak through Noritsu, and Agfa are in a battle to print
your digital files on real paper just like film. Here in Atlanta just about
everybody including Sam's and Costco are rolling out Fuji Frontiers with
digital PIC's. Bring in your CD, Zip, memory card and they will make
prints in something over an hour. With the larger capacity machines
something over 1000 5X7's an hour can come your way. You want 8X, you can
have them.

By the way, the dye sub mentioned in the link by Tim may have a protective
coating but the prints don't hold up well as the Epson 12XX. I haven't had
trouble with the 8X but the smaller ones cut out of the sheet seem to have
more discoloration after several years of display.

Austin has it right, for your everyday pictures, let the lab print them.
Save your energy for art, poetry, and a good brawl on the LUG.

two cents worth
