ah! if you had only seen brian's marvelous talk at the nylug meeting where
he talked about the actual need for some vitriolic curmudgeon(s) in a
virtual community. he also pointed out that this virtual community is not a
democracy, it's a dictatorship. :-)

it was a fantastic lecture. too bad it's not on tape....
