[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]The hardest thing for me about Erwin publishing now under Leica's rubric is that it will now be very difficult for me to take seriously his tests of lenses by other manufacturers -- the Cosina, Konica and etc. marques that have been issuing lenses for Leica-type cameras for the past few years. He's always been somewhat negative about those brands, but I always appreciated the Puts method applied to them anyway. Now being on Solms' pay list (even if sporadically) means that he really can no longer be relied on as a tester of competing brands.
