Maybe if you go right to the source. But I live in Italy, and the Italian
operation stinks. Of course, that is also true for Nikon Italy, as my wife
knows to her cost. Frankly, I don't think there is any service operation in
Italy that doesn't stink. They sell you the camera and then you're on your
own.

I don't think it's right that you have to send your camera to germany to
have it fixed.
