It's true, you see that Karsh lighting and don't necessarily see
through it too well to the person photographed;  by contrast, even
though she tends to be quite consistent in her lighting, lens and
perspective choice, in the work of Jane Bown it's almost always the
subject who comes through, not her.  That's why she's so good.
