This year the Leica Camera AG will again be represented with exciting new products. You can find us in Hall 2.2, booth C 021. It’s well worth a visit! During the trade fair we will update you, per newsletter, on all new products and further information concerning Leica. Already now we would like to inform you about the news on the Leica homepage starting at photokina 2002. From September 25th, 2002 onwards we present you at www.leica-camera.com the following new functions and interesting offers: __New: Service function for the search for lost Leica M and Leica R cameras. __New: Leica Photo Forum __Exclusive for photokina 2002: photokina-Chat __From September 25th, 2002 on: Daily winner in the Leica Photocontest online __New: Service function for the search for lost Leica M and Leica R cameras Another new feature of the website will be a service function for the search for lost Leica M and Leica R cameras. Every Leica customer can register cameras that were lost or stolen. Conversely, those who are contemplating the purchase of a used Leica camera can first enter their serial numbers on this site to check whether these items have been reported lost or stolen. With this service, Leica Camera AG wishes to assist in the recovery of lost or stolen goods and to inhibit the trade in illicit wares. Further information will be available from September 25th, 2002 onwards at: http://www.leica-camera.com/markt/index_e.html __New: Leica Photo Forum For photokina 2002, Leica is introducing a newly structured Leica forum for the direct exchange of ideas and questions with interested photofans. Later on, a password will be issued to enhance the secure use of this platform. In addition, beginning in October 2002, photographers will have the opportunity to post pictures in the forum that were made with Leica equipment, so that the participants can discuss them online. During that period, Internet users will have the opportunity to exchange information about the many new products and events at the world’s fair of imaging. In addition, a special section of the Leica homepage will continuously feature impressions of photokina and of the Leica stand. No later than Sept. 23rd 2002 photo enthusiasts can participate the extra- ordinary action with the subject ‘people & emotions’ to win high-class Leica products. A LEICA DIGILUX 1, a compact binocular LEICA TRINOVID BC as well as an attractive brand new product are waiting for the winner.
