It took a long time for me to finally break down and get Leica equipment so I'm not in a mood to skimp on servicing it. I figured out the problem though. I'm so used to all that big Nikkor glass the Leica stuff just slips through my fingers. It was only a couple of feet. But the ground was hard. Sam, if it was bought new you might have a passport to salvation. Otherwise, I will third the recommendation of John at Focal Point. Honest, relatively quick, great workmanship. The only negative is that he is not the least expensive out there. Don't you hate it when you only get 4 out of 5?
