Some might find it schmaltzy, but I like the expression on the boy's face. I wouldn't have noticed the triangles if you hadn't pointed them out, but I did find the patterns very pleasing. The shot holds together well. The second is amusing when one reads the story, but it doesn't work without that caption, and so I really prefer the first shot.
