I bought a book of her writings a few years back after
reading a few pages of "Why I live at the P.O." in the
bookstore.  I don't remember hearing of her before that.
One of those serendipitous finds; others "found" the
same way:  Sam Abell, Robert Owen Butler.  Read somewhere
she was a keen photographer. Never knew that Eudora was 
named after her though.
