G'day Dave,
Your project was on the whole very strong. You carried through your vision
of how you wanted to show this project and your viewers understood what you
were saying.

To grow, work through the criticism which seems to center on lack of depth
of field and blurring. If in your opinion the images would be stronger then
re-consider film choice or use of a tripod in similar situations. Another
consideration would be using a faster lens wide open and use even less in
focus to center the viewer on what you want to say; or slower shutter speeds
to show the work with off camera flash to freeze the worker while blurring
the tool.

In the end, you may conclude that your first effort is the best
presentation, but the exercise of examining your choices makes you a better
photographer.

Very nice work well done.

Don
