It's just great for those tight, close-in shots, where camera position is critical. With a close focus of 0.16 meters/ 6 1/4" and a 110 degrees angle of view, you can look at the world in a totally different way. I compared this 3.5 Super-Elmar-R to the new 2.8 Super-Elmarit-R and it was very hard to notice any differences on Velvia.
