Anyone know the origins of this phrase? I think I know.

Any guesses?

I never paid attention to this acronym before, but it made me
laugh out loud just now.  It adds a Leica flavor to the conversation;
how do the Leica Dames and Ladies feel, being reduced to an
accessory ?

[Even if the Leica 5-letter code was used for cameras (LHSA members
and other Leica historians, please clarify), the mental picture it conjures
is that of Leica accessories]
