Thanks, Slobodan. Hope to see a bunch of us at the annual meeting in Portland
October 2-6 where our own Ted Grant will be educating us.

BTW, I'm daring the gods and Mitch Zeissler by travelling to the meeting by
rail, Lake Shore Limited, Albany NY to Chicago and the Empire Builder,
Chicago to Portland. Compounding the felony, I'm returning on the Coast
Starlight, Portland to San Francisco, a day in the Bay area, then the
California Zephyr, San Francisco to Chicago and the Lake Shore Ltd home. Even
got permission from SWMBO to go alone. I hope to be home for Thanksgiving.

The Zephyr trip is one of the most beautiful rail journeys in the world,
scheduled to do the Nevada-Utah desert and the Nebraska-Iowa plains at night
while traversing the Sierra Nevada Range and the Utah-Colorado Rockies by
day. If we're on time!!
Taking two M6's, 35 & 50 Summicrons, 90 Elmarit and 25/4 Cosina/Voigtlander
Skopar. May add a 50 Summilux for non-available light in the dining car.

Based on what I've read here, considering doing all b+w on Portra with which
I have no experience though I have used TCN some. Tri-X since forever,
through the various tweakings. Someone once said never photograph seriously
with film with which you are not thoroughly familiar.

Last time I did a rail trip to California it permitted me finally to finish
Finnegan's Wake!!

Best,
